My kids absolutely loved the book! As a mom who's always snapping photos of my children, it was a great way to illustrate the beauty and power of photography in a way they understood it. The book also inspired them to take up the hobby!

An Inspiring Read -- Five Stars

In this beautifully written and gorgeously illustrated book, we are introduced to Phoebe, a little girl with an infectious laugh and the ability to "shine happiness" wherever she goes. In order to complete her mission as a "happiness hero," Phoebe wants a special present for her 5th birthday, a present that she, unfortunately, does not receive. Instead, she receives a gift that is quite unexpected. A camera. At first, Phoebe is puzzled about how she is going to be a superhero with a camera, but in time, and with a little imagination, Phoebe sets off on an adventure with her camera and her best friend, Lamby, chasing the sun and capturing the light around her. Click. Click. Click. Click. Phoebe sparks smiles everywhere she goes with her camera. And, by the end of the story, Phoebe comes to some important realizations about herself. A heartfelt, warm, and inviting story, Phoebe will inspire girls and boys, alike, as well as children and adults, to look at their world with fresh, new eyes.
